History
The company was founded at the beginning of the last century in the A Tapia neighborhood of Pobra do Brollón (Lugo) by Diutina Hiebra and Manuel Herbella, who started with a small stone oven. Later, their son Evaristo Herbella and his wife Marina Herbella expanded the business in 1956 with a larger oven. In 1980, their daughter Teresa Herbella and her husband José Valcárcel took over management, carrying out renovations and expansions, including the installation of a new wood-fired oven and the expansion of the premises. In 2007, José and Manuel Valcárcel Herbella took control, focusing on rural development, and in 2010 they carried out an expansion to improve product packaging.


Product types
The company offers a variety of artisanal pastries and bakery products, including homemade sponge cake, San Lourenzo bica, almond cake (gluten- and lactose-free), cream pastries, mantecadas, doughnuts, almond cakes (gluten- and lactose-free), and coconut cakes.
