History
In 2001, Bodegas Regina Viarum became part of the Gómez Araujo family, marking the beginning of a new era of growth and innovation. Since then, the company has maintained sustained development, incorporating technological advances and consolidating its position as one of the most innovative wineries in Galicia. Its history is linked to the winemaking tradition of the Ribeira Sacra, an area with more than twenty centuries of winemaking history.
Product types
The company offers a wide range of red, white, and rosé wines, made primarily from native grape varieties such as Mencía, Godello, Tempranillo, Sousón, and Merenzao. Highlights include Finca La Capitana, Regina Expresión, Origen II, Horatius, Vía Appia, Heroico, Sacrima, and Regina Dona. Organic wines and barrel-aged options are also available.
