The company is dedicated to the production and sale of artisanal ice cream, nougat, and other sweets, both for local consumption and for export.
History
The company was founded in 1944 by Dolors Llorens Sirvent and Daniel Sirvent, originally from Xixona, who started the ice cream business in Vic. They began with a stand in Plaza Santa Clara and expanded with another street stand and a shop on Passeig de Gràcia. Over time, they added the sale of nougat made in Xixona, and in 1963 they opened the establishment in Plaça Major in Vic, followed by the bakery on Carrer Nou. The arrival of their children ensured the continuity of the business, which is currently run by the third generation of the family.
Product types
It offers a wide variety of artisanal products, including ice creams in different flavors and formats (cururutxos, terrines, popsicles, bars, frozen yogurts), traditional nougats and innovative flavors (Xixona, Alacant, chocolate, massapà, creamed gem, praline, guirlatxe), slushies, horchata, and complementary sweets such as neules, polvorones, and gift packs. Particularly noteworthy are the ice creams and nougats with Protected Geographical Indication from Xixona and Alacant.
