History
Cascajares was founded by two young entrepreneurs, Alfonso Jiménez Rodríguez-Vila and Francisco Iglesias, with modest initial capital. They began selling canned capon and candied rooster combs, focusing on innovation and the revival of traditional products. The company grew, moving its factory to Palencia and then to Dueñas, and expanding nationally and later internationally with the opening of a plant in Quebec, Canada. Cascajares has received various business and social responsibility awards and promotes the employment of people with disabilities through the Cascajares Foundation.


Product types
Cascajares offers a wide range of prepared products, primarily roasted poultry and meats such as capon, truffled pullet, turkey, duck, suckling pig, suckling lamb, and veal shank. It also sells prepared dishes such as lentils with vegetables, chicken tikka masala curry, pork ribs with barbecue sauce, beef cheek in Cordoba sauce, and side dishes such as cranberry sauce, apple compote, and candied figs.
